THE INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST  OPPORTUNITY at Bear Cognition: 

 

The Information Security Specialist is responsible for maintaining and reassessing security structures and procedures.  They will work closely with our technical team, COO, and other company stakeholders to continue advancing the organization in the areas of security, compliance and operational solutions and support.  This position requires strong communication skills, ability to work cross-departmentally, and ability to be agile with projects/tasks.

Required Areas of Skill & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in related field & 2+ years’ experience in Information Security & Technology 

• CompTIA Security+ Certification 

• Experience in SOC II / NIST SP / FedRAMP Certification and Compliance 

• Implementation and Operation of Security Software and Protocol 

• Cloud Security 

• Penetration Testing & Risk Analysis 

• Experience with Windows & Linux platforms 

  

  

Preferred Skills/Qualifications 

• Experience with Microsoft Azure 

• CCSP Certification
