ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The Digital Marketing Intern will have an active role in Bear Cognition’s marketing strategy and help to put those ideas and goals into practice. The Intern will work with team member across the organization, including our EVP of Marketing and Business Development. As such we are looking for a candidate that has excelled in their related classwork and has practical experience through their academic program and/or employment experience. The ideal candidate should be web and multi-media savvy. In addition, they need to be able to take requirements from leadership, communicate effective plans and put them into action. 

 

Internship duration could go beyond the summer with potential of future full-time employment.

 

· Summer - 25 to 30 Hours per Week, Weekdays Only. Flexible around Intern’s schedule.

· Fall/Spring - 15 to 25 Hours per Week, Weekdays Only. Flexible around Intern’s schedule.​

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate and implement improvements on digital strategy

• Analyze and report performance of marketing efforts

• Optimize SEO

• Use knowledge of digital platforms to help improve product development

• Research additional mediums and opportunities for market exposure

REQUIREMENTS

• Earning a degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications

• Skilled in social media platforms

• Experience with SEO

• Knowledge of web analytic tools

• Experience with online marketing tools and practices

• Analytical skills, strong work ethic, creativity, effective communication skills and overall positive attitude
