Sales Intern overview

As a Sales Intern at Bear Cognition, you will be working with our sale team to develop leads and set sales appointments. You will be trained on how to engage with owners and executives, talk about their business process and needs and effectively communicate the value of our products and services. In addition, you will get exposure to other elements of the sales process, including sales appointments and implementation of products. This is a great opportunity for those interested in a sales career, to gain valuable exposure and experience in the software industry. 

 *Please note that interns must be local and will work in the Charleston office

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with Sales Team in assisting with lead development 

  • Use lead generation software to identify potential leads 

  • Make phone calls to leads to set appointments for the Sales Team 

  • Maintain organization of all opportunities and information using a CRM application

What we are looking for:

  • Major/Minor in Business, Sales, related field or have a strong interest in sales 

  • Be coachable and energetic 

  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills at multiple levels 

  • Consistently maintain a high standard of organization 

  • Skilled communicator with a positive attitude
