Data Engineer Intern overview:

The Data Engineer Intern is responsible for establishing and managing data pipelines for our organization. They will utilize services such as Fivetran, Snowflake, AWS Glue, Webhooks, DBT, and others to establish/manage data pipelines. Aside from the development of these pipelines, the Data Engineer Intern may be required to do some initial data cleansing and basic transformations. In addition to generating new data pipelines the Data Engineer Intern will assist in improving the quality and scale of data warehouse service.

*Please note that interns must be local and will work in the Charleston office

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Data Engineering or related field 

  • Python 

  • SQL 

  • Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP) 

  • ETL Pipelines 

  • APIs (Rest / GraphQL) 

  • Relational Databases 

  • Orchestrating Data Pipelines (Prefect, Python, Apache Airflow)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:​

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner  

  • Snowflake Data Warehouse Management 

  • Streaming Data Processing
