SES Representative overview

The expectation of the Strategic Engagement and Solutions team is to represent the company to existing and potential customers. They are responsible for proactively reaching out to customers to manage the Bear Cognition/Customer relationship and to pass off information to the Bear Cognition team in the form of vertical opportunities. They are tasked with maximizing revenue through new acquisition and the existing book of business.    


Their goals include acquisition, reengagement, renewals, customer referrals, pushing content, and upsells. Their skill sets are expected to include extensive knowledge of new applications, specialized software, upgrades, SOW, and market insights.    

The career path for this team can be to work towards becoming a Strategic Engagement Director.  a

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor customer engagement and software usage. 

  • Proactively reaching out to customers to manage the Bear Cognition/Customer relationship.  

  • Conduct meetings with current customers to identify other products and services that would be of benefit to their organization. 

  • Resolve any issues that might arise during the life of an account.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required); Masters or MBA (Preferred) 

  • High energy, with passion for your personal brand and that of the organization. 

  • Comfortable in a fast paced, quota-driven, results-oriented environment. 

  • Self-starter with strong organization & presentation skills, whose attention to detail will drive profitability. 

  • Ability to think strategically about personal impact to long-term business strategy. 

  • Effective communicator with a strong business acumen. 

  • Experience in formal leadership positions within social or professional organizations.
